With the multifunctional PIR presence sensor Ekinex KNX Secure, not only the movement of individuals can be detected, but also ambient light intensity, air humidity and room temperature. Up to 4 channels for lighting (with constant brightness regulation) and integrated thermoregulation functions are available. Despite its compact footprint, the sensor provides a wide detection area up to 15.5m in diameter, making it ideal for residential, hospitality and commercial buildings.

Architectural Integration & Philosophy

Engineered for flush and discreet ceiling installation, the EK-SG2-TP-M creates a seamless automation equilibrium without altering the interior architectural aesthetic. Thanks to its directional lens and advanced PIR optics, it accurately distinguishes walking motion as well as sedentary desk activities. Integrated temperature and humidity sensors optimize indoor HVAC regulation, while the constant light control dynamically harmonizes artificial illumination with natural daylight.
